Dietrich is a business attorney and practice group leader in the Denver office of Holland & Knight, where he advises clients on mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financing, and complex corporate transactions. With more than 25 years of experience in automotive retail, Stephen is a trusted legal adviser to dealer operators, family offices, and investors across the automotive, heavy truck, powersports, and agricultural equipment sectors. He leads a nationwide automotive dealership M&A practice that has closed approximately 60 transactions since 2021, totaling more than $3 billion in value, and has been involved in more than 300 transactions throughout his career. In 2023, he advised Jim Koons Automotive Companies on its $1.2 billion sale to Asbury Automotive Group—one of the largest automotive retail transactions in recent years.

Meredith Lucciola

Meredith is a Director at Forvis Mazars serving dealership clients from the Irvine, California office. She has over 25 years of accounting experience, serving the automotive industry for most of her career.  Aside from traditional audit and review engagements, Meredith assists dealer groups acquire and sell stores through financial and operational due diligence and closing assistance. In addition, she has a wide variety of consulting experience including operational analysis and compliance, accounting structure and design, and internal audit services. Prior to joining Forvis Mazars, she served as CFO and corporate controller of two large automotive dealers in California. She was also Director of Accounting at a multi-state dealership group, where she helped create an efficient, centralized accounting department to improve financial reporting and reduce overhead costs. Meredith brings both direct industry knowledge and prior public accounting experience to the table, having worked for an international firm in New York early in her career.
